Dr. Calatayud received his chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. A native of Wallingford, his practice has proudly served the community since 1989.
He uses safe and gentle techniques including Activator, Diversified, Flexion-Distraction, and Thompson Technique, along with various physical therapy modalities.
He received his massage therapy training and certification from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2008. He uses deep tissue massage, swedish massage, hot stone massage, chakra balancing, and aromatherapy in his practice. He became a Quantum Touch practitioner in 2010.
Dr. Calatayud believes that massage therapy and chiropractic care complement one another greatly. He is certified by NCBTMB as provider of continuing education for licensed massage therapists, and continues to teach at CCMT regularly.
